Enhancv reviews: what is free, what it costs, how to cancel

What Enhancv is and who runs it

Enhancv is an online resume builder with design tools, an ATS check and AI writing suggestions. Its terms say the service is "provided by Enhancv R&D." and governed by the laws of Bulgaria. Payments go through Paddle, which its help centre calls "our payment provider". Support is by email at [email protected].

Is Enhancv free?

For 7 days, with limits. Its help centre: "When you open an Enhancv account (no card required), you get 7 days of free access to get a taste of our Pro features."

The branding is a line in your resume's footer; its help centre says "You can remove the Enhancv branding only if you have a Pro Plan." The pages we read do not say plainly whether a free account can download a PDF, or what happens to it after the 7 days, so we do not guess.

What Enhancv costs, as of October 3, 2026

Enhancv's pricing page loads its prices by the visitor's country. For a US visitor on October 3, 2026, its price feed returned the US dollar prices below, before tax; its page title says "Starting from $16.50", which is the semiannual price per month. From Europe the same page showed €29.73 a month, €60.48 every 3 months and €101.48 every 6 months, tax included.

Its help centre says "At the end of the billing period, every subscription is renewed automatically for the new billing period except if the user cancels his plan", and "At the beginning of each billing period, you'll be automatically charged for the entire period." It adds that prices "are subject to taxes and may vary in currency based on the region."

Refunds: how the pro-rated rule works

Its terms: "Any monthly fees paid hereunder are non-refundable if you have used our services during that billing period. Quarterly and Semi-annual fees are eligible for a partial pro-rated refund." Its help centre article on refunds puts the monthly rule more strictly: "Any monthly fees paid hereunder are non-refundable and non-cancelable."

Its help centre explains the sum: "you will be charged for the months you have used your account at the price of a Monthly plan and we'll refund the difference." With the US prices above (our arithmetic, before any tax):

Cancelling does not ask for the refund. The help centre says "cancelling a subscription does not trigger a refund request": email [email protected] with your account email, the date, the amount and the last 4 digits of the card. Promo-code prices are non-refundable.

How to cancel Enhancv

From its help centre:

1. Go to your Billing page: app.enhancv.com/billing.
2. Click the Cancel Subscription link.
3. Answer the survey and click Continue.
4. Confirm the cancellation.
5. Refresh the Billing page and check it says Canceled, with the date your Pro access ends.

Its terms say you get an email confirmation, and that Enhancv is "not always able to respond to cancellation requests via email", so use the Billing page. Unsubscribing from its newsletter does not cancel the plan. After cancelling, you keep Pro until the period you paid for ends; then the account goes read-only, and you "will still be able to view and download existing documents".

On your statement, look for PADDLE.NET* ENHANCV; its refund article writes it as PADDLE* ENHANCV. Its help centre says its charges "will always contain the word Enhancv".

Some customers report finishing a resume and finding the download needed a paid plan, or being charged after they thought they had cancelled; you can read their accounts on Trustpilot.

What Enhancv does well

To be fair to it: you can try every template and design tool without a card. Cancelling is self-serve, with the end date shown on the Billing page. The longer plans can get a partial refund, and after your plan ends you can still download the documents you made. Its pricing page shows the full amount billed for each plan, not only the monthly figure.
