How to cancel your Resume Now subscription

Every step and contact detail here is from Resume Now's own terms of use and contact page, read on October 3, 2026. Prices are from its pricing page as read on October 2, 2026; on October 3 that page refused our connection.

Before you start: find the charge

Resume Now's contact page says its charges appear on statements as ResumeNow, Resume-Now.com, BLD*Resume-Now.com or PayPal *RESUME-NOW. Note the date and amount: you will want them if you ask for a refund.

If you see the charge but do not remember signing up, its contact page suggests searching your email (spam folder included) for messages from Resume Now, then trying to sign in or reset your password with that address. If no account turns up, contact customer service.

As of October 2, 2026, its pricing page says the 14-day plan "auto-renews at $23.95, billed every 4 weeks", and the annual plan "Auto-renews each year".

Option 1: cancel online

1. Sign in at resume-now.com with the email you signed up with.
2. Go to My Account and My Settings. Resume Now's terms (section 10.6) say the "online cancel page" is there; its contact page calls these "self-serve options in your dashboard".
3. Follow the cancellation to the end.
4. Wait for the confirmation email. The terms say: "Resume-Now will send an email with a cancellation number to confirm any cancellation request."

The Resume Now pages we could read do not name the buttons on the cancel page, so we do not guess at them.

Option 2: cancel by phone, email or chat

Its contact page answers "How do I cancel my subscription?" with: "Contact us by phone, email, or chat, and Resume Now's customer service team will be happy to assist you."

Email leaves a written record with a date, which helps if anything goes wrong later. Here is one to copy:

Only ask for what is true for you: delete the line about the trial if it does not apply.

Resume Now vs ResumeGood

Resume Now's column comes from its pricing page (October 2, 2026), and its terms and help article (October 3, 2026), the same sources as is Resume Now free.

What Resume Now's terms say about refunds

Section 10.6 of its terms: "Resume-Now may issue a refund if notice of cancellation of your subscription is provided before the end of the trial period, if a trial period is offered. Resume-Now does not guarantee refunds after trials are expired."

Its pricing page lists a "Money-Back Guarantee" and the line "Get your money back if you're not satisfied." The pages we could read give no other conditions for that guarantee, so ask for the refund in your cancellation message, as in the email above.

If you never get a confirmation

The terms say: "If you do not receive this confirmation and still wish to cancel, please contact our customer service department directly for further assistance." Its contact page adds: check your spam or junk folder first. Until you have the cancellation number, treat the subscription as still active.

If you are still charged after cancelling

Steps 3 and 4 are the FTC's advice for any subscription:

1. Write to the company. Reply to Resume Now by email with your cancellation number, the date you cancelled and the charge you are disputing. Keep a copy, and notes of any calls.
2. Watch your statements for charges after the date you cancelled.
3. Contact your card issuer. If a company "won't stop charging your account after you told them to cancel your subscription", the FTC says to file a dispute with your credit or debit card company, and to keep any letters, notes or emails about what happened. Tell them exactly what happened.
4. Report it to the FTC or to your state attorney general, if it is not resolved.

What Resume Now does well here

Resume Now gives you four ways to cancel: an online cancel page, a phone line open seven days a week, email and chat. Its terms promise a confirmation with a cancellation number, which gives you proof. Use that.
