Resume.co reviews: what it is, what it costs, how to cancel

Resume.co reviews mostly come down to one question: what is free? Building and sharing a resume are. Downloading it as a PDF or Word file is a premium feature: as of October 3, 2026, its pricing page lists 7 days for $1.95, which renews at $29.95 a month unless you cancel.

Everything below comes from resume.co's own pricing page, terms and help centre, read on October 3, 2026. Resume.co and resume.com are different websites; this page is only about resume.co.

What resume.co is and who runs it

Resume.co is an online resume and cover letter builder. Its terms say the site is "a property of Job Flow LLC", and give a mailing address at 1875 Century Park E, Los Angeles, CA 90067. Its contact page lists [email protected] and the same address.

Is resume.co free?

Partly. Its help centre says: "You can build and share your resume, at no cost." Sharing means a link to your resume, not a file.

Free, by resume.co's own pages Paid, by its pricing page and help centre
The resume and cover letter builder Downloading your resume as a PDF ("a premium feature")
ATS-friendly templates Downloading as Word (.docx): "If you don't currently have an active subscription, you won't see the "DOCX" label."
Sharing your resume by link Unlimited AI tailoring for a job and unlimited AI cover letters

So if you need a file to attach to an application, on resume.co that is where payment starts.

What resume.co costs, as of October 3, 2026

Plan on the pricing page First charge Then
7-day unlimited access $1.95 "After 7 days, it renews to $29.95 billed monthly. Cancel anytime."

If you keep it for a year without cancelling, that is 12 charges of $29.95, or $359.40 (our arithmetic from the listed price). Its terms say the recurring fee is billed "on a recurring monthly basis" until you cancel.

Is resume.co legit?

What its own pages let you check:

  • A named company. Job Flow LLC, with a Los Angeles mailing address, and terms governed by New York law.
  • A real subscription. The terms say that if you do not cancel during the trial, "your subscription will automatically renew".
  • How the charge appears. "Purchases made through the Service will appear on your bank statement as Resume.co."
  • Ways to cancel. A button in your profile, a phone number and an email address (below).

Some customers report being charged after the trial ended and being refused a refund; you can read their accounts on Trustpilot.

Refunds: two windows on its own pages

  • Its terms: "If you request a refund within 30 days of your initial purchase, you will be given a full refund."
  • Its help centre: "If, within 14 days of your purchase, you find yourself unsatisfied with our app, you can apply for a full refund with no questions asked." It adds that it "can only process refunds for payments made within the last 90 days".

The safe reading: ask within 14 days of paying, in writing, to [email protected]. That fits both.

How to cancel resume.co

  1. Sign in and open your profile.
  2. In the Subscription section, click Cancel Subscription. That is the help centre's own wording.
  3. If that does not work, its terms accept cancellation by phone at 855-568-0962 or by email to [email protected]. Email gives you a dated record.
  4. Keep any confirmation. The terms say you keep access until the end of the billing period you already paid for.

If you need more on getting a charge stopped, see how to cancel a resume builder subscription.

What resume.co does well

To be fair to it: the builder, the templates and sharing by link cost nothing. The pricing page states the renewal price next to the $1.95, and the terms offer a full refund within 30 days of your first purchase. Cancelling is a button in your profile, not a phone call. Its pricing page shows a Trustpilot score of 4.7 out of 5 from 13,823 reviews.
